Part ii skills day 20/09/08
And finally we had a day without rain! A good thing though, as it was too windy to put up the Escapegoat tent!
This week it was great to see have some familar faces turn up. It was time for Julia, Joseph, PY and Paul to give the second part of our course a go. All had been practising what they had learnt in the first course and were raring to go!
The moring was spent messing around on the ramps, practising drop-offs, step-ups and all manner of other random challenges we could think up. And we threw in the bunny-hop too, to see how we all went.
Then, after a quick stop for coffee and cakes, it was time to have a crack at berms and high speed cornering.
Pretty soon everyone was flying around the berms, and most of the time staying on them!
Then it was off for a quick bite to eat, and then a short spin up Northface, and into Tunnel Vision to find some tricky spots to session our new skills.
After we tackled a few tricky climbs and had another few goes riding high speed corners it was time for a final crack at some real drop-offs and jumps too.
Thanks guys, hope you had a great day!
