Scenic, relaxing ride with views and wine tasting. Had a fantastic day out. Great scenery, lovely riding, saw some wildlife and then enjoyed a scenic wine tasting lunch. Also found an ice cream at the orchard to finish the day.
Mountain Bike Hire at Belair National Park
We offer bike hire, along with great coffees, snacks, and MTB Day Trips(opens in a new tab) near Adelaide in our base in Belair National Park. We have a good range of bikes and accessories from adult bikes, as well as a few 20″ and 24″ kids mountain bikes, and even baby seats to go on mum’s ebike!
We know what it’s like to get somewhere and be keen to hit the trails, but then struggle to find a decent bike to rent, so we are happy to rent our bikes out too. We only provide bikes we would be happy to ride ourselves, so you can be sure they will be great bikes, in good condition.

Good to Know
– Bike hire for shuttles can be arranged as an add on when you book.
– We may close early if no bikes are hired out and weather conditions are poor.
– Bike pick up or drop off may be possible outside these hours by pre-arrangement.

How It Works
Our Adelaide mountain bike hire service now operates from our Goat Shed conveniently located in Belair National Park, a 20 minute drive or short train ride from the city. All bikes need to be picked up during opening hours — unless pre-arranged. Pick up MAY be available the evening before IF the bike is available. PRE BOOKING YOUR MTB HIRE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to avoid disappointment- walk in pricing is more expensive, if available! Bike hire is per session/hire.
Belair has a nice mix of easy fire tracks for families and more technical trails on ‘The Adventure Loop’, and it’s just a short spin to the MTB trails of Sturt Gorge, Mitcham and Shepherds Hill, and we can even provide you with maps of where to go. For the best South Australia trail info, we recommend using the Trailforks app on android or iphone. This will give you a GPS map with most of the local trails on. Alternatively we can provide you a Garmin GPS with one of our self-guiding packages(opens in a new tab).
