Come and explore the Flinders Ranges by bike with Escapegoat Adventures. We specialise in small group trips to the heart of the Flinders Ranges. Flinders Ranges by bike is a 200km cycle adventure, which starts at Wilpena Pound and takes in some of the most stunning areas of this amazing location. The loop, created by local land owners, takes you through private properties as well as national park land, and covers sections not normally open to the public. It links parts of the Mawson Trail with an existing network of old pastoral trails on each property.

5 Days Of Awesome Riding
The Flinders Ranges by bike loop takes 4 days to ride, with an average of 50km a day and a good level of fitness and mountain bike experience is strongly recommended. Whilst much of the trails are fairly straightforward, there are also sections that are technically more challenging, and novice riders will need to test themselves. You will need plenty of stamina, but a reasonably fit rider should have no problems. Vehicle support is also provided in places. Check the video to see what the riding is like!
visit Melrose on the way home.....
We will also visit and ride at Melrose, a stunning town in the Southern Flinders Ranges, which has opened it’s doors and land to mountain bikers. We will explore the singletrack trails of this mecca of mountain biking to offer you another side to the riding in this stunning area of Australia.
and enjoy beautiful accommodation along the way!
for most of the stay we will stay in a lovely refurbished Shearers Quarters with comfortable double/twin room accommodation, with all meals provided. In Melrose we stay in the super-bike friendly "Under the Mount" holiday units. No camping or roughing it needed, and certainly no swags!

If you like spending time outdoors, you'll most likely enjoy a half day mountain bike tour on the Adelaide hills.
The Lofty Descent Tour was the highlight of our Adelaide trip. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the cycle which was easy yet exciting.
