Let us show you the best trails in the Adelaide Hills and Melrose on an epic, personalised multi-day MTB adventure. Trust us, the riding in both the Adelaide Hills and around Melrose is awesome, and is only now starting to get the reputation it deserves as a world-class MTB destination. And now, with the opening of the new EPIC trail around Mt Remarkable near Melrose, there is scope for a truly EPIC week of riding!
We have literally hundreds of kilometres of trails all through the hills, with some key trail centres like Fox Creek Bike Park, Sturt Gorge, O’Halloran Hill and Eagle MTB park, along with a network of other lesser-known linking trails. And all of it is super-accessible from the city!
Plus, we have the MTB Mecca that is Melrose just a short 3hr drive away with an amazing network of trails AND the brand new 38KM Mount Remarkable Epic trail too! To get the best out of the area, you really need a little local knowledge, and that’s where we come in!
Shorter itineraries are possible too, including 3 day long weekends. Get a group together and come ride. We can customise the tour as required, minimum numbers 3, maximum 10. The bigger the group, the cheaper your trip!

Itinerary overview
3 nights accommodation in the Adelaide Hills, and 2 nights in Melrose.
Where we ride depends on your experience and preferences, a rough suggested itinerary is:
- Arrive Friday afternoon. Transfer to accommodation
- Day 1: Belair, Sturt Gorge, Shepherds Hill and Mitcham
- Day 2: Fox Creek Bike Park- shuttles included
- Day 3: Afternoon ride at Melrose trails
- Day 4: Mount Remarkable Epic trail
- Day 5: morning ride at Melrose or Willowie (transfer back to Adelaide in Afternoon)

- Bike hire available- we recommend one of our Dual Suspension bikes for $200 for the trip.

Multi-Day Best of Adelaide and Melrose Epic Trails Tour Itinerary
Fox Creek MTB and so much more!
Start off with a few days in the Adelaide Hills! Stay at the lovely Belair National Park Holiday Park which is just 20 mins from the city of Adelaide, and explore the region!
Start your day with a coffee and breakfast snack at our Goat Shed cafe next to the Holiday Park each morning, before heading off for your day of riding.
Let us show you the best trails around- we will start off with a day of riding the brilliant local trails, including Sturt Gorge and Shepherds Hill. We will also have a day of shuttles and riding at Fox Creek Bike Park, the main park in the Adelaide region. It’s a brilliant spot with riding for all levels.
We will provide you all transport and guiding, and can also provide bikes if required too.
Melrose and the Mount Remarkable EPIC TRAIL!
After 2 days of riding in the Adelaide Hills, hop in the van for the 3hr drive to Melrose. We will stay at the wonderful and brilliantly bike-friendly “Under The Mount”.
The riding at Melrose is both brilliant and varied. We will first explore the trails close into town, which are fun and technical.
The next day we will set off on the brand new Mount Remarkable Epic trail- a 38km loop that will challenge most, and which offers amazing views, and a truly epic ride. (shorter options of ride are possible of course!)
On our final morning we will head off on a final ride, either in Melrose or nearby Willowie Forest, before transferring back to Adelaide. If you have any questions or worries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Let us show you why we love our backyard!
