OK, so for a change I thought I’d share some thoughts on our new 2018 Dual Suspension Merida One Forty hire bikes.
It’s fair to say we have been really really pleased with them. Great value, and an awesome ride. Some standouts (particularly at this price point, of around $2.5K) are the deore brakes, 1×11 SLX shimano gearing, fantastically smooth and solid manitou forks and super wide and grippy 2.6″ Maxxis tyres. The dropper post is own brand, but works great too. They are a fantastic bike, with genuinely nothing for us to do to have them ready for clients. I’ve actually regularly been riding one over the last month, because it’s just sooo fun to ride.
