Get on your bike and RIDE! Hi there Ian! Well, it’s fair to say October has been a truly awesome month for mountain biking in South Australia. The weather has been great, and McLaren Vale in particular has been looking wonderful and green on our Winery tours- check out all the photos from our trips this month on our October Gallery. It really is a great time to get out and ride. But don’t worry if you haven’t had a chance to dust off the old bike and get out in them there hills recently, cos we have loads of options to allow you to get out on the bike this November!

First off, we have a special Lofty Descents trip on offer THIS SATURDAY 30 October- contact us quickly if you want to get onto this!
Then, the following SUNDAY, 7 NOVEMBER we are running another Hills Vines and Wines weekend special- a great chance to explore Kuitpo & McLaren Vale by bike, and do a little wine and beer tasting along the way! We also have another Sunday Special penciled in for SUNDAY 21 NOVEMBER.
Next up is our big trip for the month, the Flinders Ranges by bike trip from 12-17 November– it’s looking set to be a cracker of a trip, with top notch accommodation at Rawnsley, Willowsprings and the Northstar at Melrose. The riding is superb, and we have a good group already signed up. There are just a couple of spots left so if 200km of riding in the Flinders Ranges interests you, get in contact NOW for a special deal!
Then on SATURDAY 20 NOVEMBER we have another day 2 skills day– so for all of you that have already done day 1 now is a perfect time to come out and develop your skills and have a go at jumps, berms, technical climbs and more- it’s a load of fun, and remember, if you have already attended Day 1 of our course, you have probably already paid for the day! 6 spots only- sign up now!
And finally, if you haven’t yet done one of our skills courses, we are running the last DAY 1 skills course of 2010 on 4 December.

Of course we are continuing to offer our Lofty Descents and Hills Vines & Wines tours throughout the week too, and also are happy to arrange special trips for groups at any time, so if it’s a group of friends, a work ‘team building’ exercise, or a bucks/hens day, give us a yell and we can sort something out! Which leaves us to the last big news- the 2011 ESCAPEGOAT ALPINE EPIC! Yes, for the third year we will be heading back to th French Alps for an epic trip- think 2 weeks of riding some of the best trails in the world, with all the planning taken care of! We’ll even throw in the occasional chairlift to get you to the top of the mountains, and luxury accomodation to stay in. It’s going to be another great trip.
