August 8- Day 1 Skills

Well, it felt like ages since we ran our last skills day. And to be fair, it was! Luckily we managed to remember where most things were stored in the house, and we were just short of a few bikes that I still hadn’t got around to rebuilding in time for the day.

We were lucky to have another great crowd this week. Chris had meet us up at Melrose, and bullied David and Mary to tag along 😉  Then we had Anne, Greg and Daniel to add to the mix.

As is traditional, the day kicked off with the Escapegoat challenge course, before we headed off around the park to work on a few other skills. Unfortunately a bit of the park is off-limits at the moment due to a little work that is going on, but much of this is due to the building of the new 4-x track, which promises to be awesome.

Then, after lunch it was time to start popping those wheels a little…..!

…..and then a little trackstand action…..

…..before a few games of ‘last man standing…..!
