Part i skills day 25/10/08

So, winter is now over. And instead we have 35 degree heat! Luckily it wasn’t too bad in Eagle, and the wind was cool.

This week we had David, Darren and Alex eager to improve their riding. So, after a quick lap around our slightly modified skills course due to the presence of a rather large marquee in preparation for the Nationals the following week, it was time to head off onto the trails.

First up it was up Northface and onto tunnel vision, then it was time to practise a bit of weight transfer and braking on the downhill course.

Then it was time to head back for lunch, and before we started attempting all the wheel lifts and trackstands. Alex particularly started pulling off some wicked wheel-lifts, demonstrating the kids can show us how its done!

Then there was just time for one more crack at the challenge course before it was time to head off. It had been a hot day, but luckily the weather made it bearable. We look forward to seeing you guys back out soon!
