Flinders Escapes

Discover new corners of the Flinders ranges as we explore areas new to biking….

Throughout the year we are arranging a number of long weekend trips to the Southern Flinders Ranges, just 3 1/2 hours drive from Adelaide.

We will be visiting the Bendleby Ranges, and staying in their converted shearers quarters, which provide good basic comfortable twin-share rooms, and a communal living area and kitchen.

The area has some excellent ‘outback’ riding with 4wd trails and goat singletrack to explore, as well as a secret gorge expedition. Two and a half days of riding is planned, and you are free to do as much or as little of this as you want.

And when you get back from a hard days ride, you have nothing else to worry about, as all food is provided. Start the day with a tasty brekkie, grab a packed lunch for the ride, and then find one of Deborah’ legendary ckaes waiting as afternoon tea on your return. And finally a two course evening meal will be laid on- before it is time to all retire around the campfire to discuss the days events.

Whats included:-

2 and a half days riding & guiding

3 nights comforable twin-share accomodation

3 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 3 2-course dinners with wine

Whats not:-

Transfers to Bendleby (although we may be able to assist if needed)

The plan is for everyone to arrive friday evening, and then head home after lunch on Monday
