Hi Ian,

I've spent a fair bit of time out in the areas you covered, both 4wd'g and bush camping including on Willow Springs and Gum Ck stations and they are beautiful areas. Haven't had the pleasure of riding any of it, but I think it would be absolutely fantastic. I'm sure there will be plenty of starters for your planned trips, as it will be a really great way to see the countryside. I'd love to have ridden some of it in the times when Dot and I have been up there, but I don't get too much support for MTB'g when we're away on hols! At least I get a leave pass for Melrose.
Sounds like you had an amazing trip and you're right, the weather can change very rapidly up there. Once it starts to rain things can go downhill (and not in a MTB manner) very quickly. We've certainly had to pull unprepared people out in our 4WD before now.
Cheers.

Hi guys,

That is brilliant! But I thought Deb sang very sweetly! Was I really that drunk?

A great weekend, well summed up. Still cleaning here too and the marquis still standing.. Managed to throw a little on the website but I will definitely link to yours. Had a Monday arvo ride on Dodging Bullets with Andrew from the Otways on Mon at around 3pm and the track was dry and the weather was perfect. Something to remember for the future - avoid the dark soil in the southern tracks!

Hope to see some of this year's fat tyre revellers again soon on a quieter weekend for some more riding, general good craic, and maybe even a few tunes.

Interestingly, I think this is the first year that I haven't ridden in the nude!

Cheers

Thanks, the photos look good. The course was great, really enjoyed the relaxed atmoshpere of the sessions. No pressure and the ability to feel comfortable asking questions. Look forward to the next course.

Keep me posted, I would definately enrole for the Part II course

Thanks again
